In mid-June Adobe released an update to their cloud version of Photoshop called CC 2015. This was an automatic update for current cloud users and if you signed up for the cloud after that date you got this version. The problem is – as is now typical with Adobe – they keep small developers like us out in the cold and as they add new features to Photoshop they break old ones. Programmers are up in arms about simple things they broke like java script functions. Some programmers even comment on online forums that Adobe must now have “kids” working there the way they are making changes that don’t make sense.
As with all things Adobe – we had to do an upgrade to T-Seps to get it to work in the new CC 2015 and as with all things Adobe – we had to find some small “workarounds” to get around their silly changes. OK, it is what it is and the world revolves around Adobe and we just released T-Seps 3.5.1 which is compatible with CC, CC 2014 and CC 2015.
If you already own T-Seps 3.5 then the upgrade to 3.5.1 is free and you simply download the free trial from www.T-BizNetwork.com/downloads/. On the plus side, Adobe has “Reset” the free trials that are online so if you tried CC 2014 before for 30 days you can now try CC 2015 for 30 days! That helps those who are still on the fence about whether to get Photoshop and go on the cloud.
Even though we do get a little miffed about how Adobe works – we are strong believers in the Cloud and feel it is a great bargain. Did we mention that the upgrade from CC or CC 2014 to CC 2015 Photoshop was free? That is a great benefit to their new subscription model of selling software.
